On The Road Again

Q:  What do you get when you combine 33 years of industry expertise mixed with a marketing genius who has the strongest Boston accent you will ever hear?

A: A wicked unbelievable Back to Black seminar hosted in the classy Seaport Hotel in Boston.  With over 50+ clients in attendance; all left well fed and thrilled with what is unfolding in 2012 for the Vision product line.

Sean O'Connell, Director of Account Management

Sean O’Connell, director of account management, discusses how Deltek is helping extend the value of customers’ existing Vision applications.

Customers from around New England joined us for great discussions and views of Boston Harbor.

Clients were clamoring to get their hands on Vision Mobile Time (VMT), full of suggestions for Insight and happy to be at the table with Deltek.

During lunch, many of the CFO’s I sat with shared stories about our annual conference, some going back 20 years.  These rather humorous stories about getting stranded in Tijuana or lost in the San Diego Zoo seemed to involve multiple Deltek clients per story, proving out that this is a long-standing tight-knit community.  I also heard about other CFO’s landing or taking new opportunities because of their preference to our solutions.

My biggest take away was this:  Our clients have remained loyal and are thrilled to see Deltek hosting events that give them guidance and insight, and by no means should we take lightly the responsibility we have for their well-being and livelihood.  Without their success, we wouldn’t have ours!

Next stop: San Francisco!
