Insight 2012’s Pre-Conference Vision Workshops To Look Out For

For those attending this year’s Deltek 2012 Insight conference in Nashville, TN from October 15th-18th, there is a lot to look forward to! (And for those that have yet to register, it’s not too late! Register.)

On Monday, October 15, Deltek University will be hosting pre-conference workshops held onsite at the Gaylord Opryland Resort.  Although there are many to choose from, here are the one’s to look out for (to see a full list of available pre-conference workshops, click here):

Vision 7 Fundamentals
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Marguerite Ormond, Deltek
In this workshop, participants will learn about Deltek’s Vision 7 application and gain an understanding of how to maximize utilization of the software. Participants will start with an overview of Vision navigation, continue with the creation of dashboards, and end with the development and analysis of key project and financial reports.

New Features of Vision 7 Custom Ad Hoc Reporting with Report Builder
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Al Hibner, Deltek
In this workshop you will learn about the Vision 7 Custom Report Builder tool, which is designed for users with limited skills who wish to create reports using predefined models.

Advanced Reporting for Vision
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Fred Hoecker, Deltek
In this workshop, participants will learn about advanced topics within SQL Server Reporting Services. The workshop primarily focuses on Report BO and other advanced custom development topics for creating dynamic reports and invoices.
