Attach Documents to AP Vouchers and Expense Reports

In Vision 7.1 we expand the file attachment capability to transactions.  Now you will have the ability to attach a vendor’s, supplier’s, or sub-consultant’s invoices to AP vouchers and attach expense receipts to expense reports.  Even better, these documents can be easily shown with the billing back up when billing out reimbursable expenses to the client.

Create Proposals that Sizzle with Vision’s New InDesign Integration

Creating an elegant, winning proposal has never been easier or faster. Vision has all the information you need to target and customize your proposal for a specific project. Now, with Vision 7.1, you can easily format it exactly the way you need to grab your prospect’s attention.

Vision’s new InDesign integration combines the layout power of InDesign with the information that already exists in Vision to quickly create sleek proposals.

Project Experience

Refining Security

Vision 7.1 allows users who do not remember their password or User ID to help themselves by using a link on the Vision login screen, freeing up system administrators from calls about forgotten passwords or User IDs.

Refining Security

Now Administrators can give others full access or read only access to the user’s application. Two check boxes have been added to allow for those with read only access to modify passwords and to disable logins.

Roles

Vision Performance Management

With the release of Vision 7.1, the Vision Performance Management (VPM) module will utilize a brand new presentation layer powered by the world class business intelligence solution from Tableau. Tableau as the presentation layer brings an extremely powerful and flexible visualization platform. The presentation layer takes all of the data served up by the cubes and presents them in interactive, graphically oriented and visually rich dashboards. The VPM module ships with 38 sample dashboards that are role based.

    Michelle:
Will we also be able to attach documents to purchase requisitions?

  2. Hi Kathy,

Not yet. It is something that will come in the future, but not with Vision 7.1.

  3. We just upgraded to the version 7.1, but could not find any documentation on how to set up the new function on attaching documents in AP vouchers.
    Your help is much appreciated,

      Hi Elena,

Great to hear you upgraded to Vision 7.1! There is an entire chapter dedicated to this topic in the Advanced Technical Installation guide. I believe it is Chapter 11. It includes information about how to configure Filestream so you can attach documents to AP Vouchers. Let me know if you need anything else.

      Michelle
