“Cloud, Mobile, and Social Platforms Enable Engagement”

Earlier this year, Bradley Horst – chief information officer and a principal at EYP Architecture & Engineering, published this great article in Design Intelligence on the role of cloud computing, mobile computing and social platforms in creating engagement for A&E firms.

Deltek couldn’t agree more.  These are some of the same trends we’re seeing.

Many A&E firms find the cloud gives them a competitive advantage.  Check out this video where Sue Hauschel and Gail Macejkovic from Groth Design Group explain how it maximizes the firm’s limited IT resources.

The business of A&E and construction is done in the field, and that’s enabled by mobility.  At this summer’s AIA National Convention, Deltek’s Mike Bourgeois talked to AECCafe about mobile computing and other trends. Watch it here.

Lastly, social business has arrived and it is enhancing how internal teams collaborate and share information to win more opportunities, streamline operations & budgets, and improve interactions with customers & partners.  This is big for Deltek and we’ve responded with Kona.  Read how ECOM Engineering uses social platforms to propel team collaboration, drive efficiency, enhance productivity and get things done.
